If you are new to the district and you have ALREADY registered with Mrs. Watkins you still need to do these steps if you have not already done so:  Parents of NEW STUDENTS to the district please go to www.teacherease.com type in your email address and choose forgot password.  Follow the steps for setting up a password.  

Hello NEW families to the Pleasant Plains School District - If you are a new family to our district and need to register your student, please contact Devona Watkins at dwatkins@ppcusd8.org  or 217 626 1041. Mrs. Watkins will get you all the necessary forms that are needed for registration.  

PPCUSD8 Continued Services Plan

Pleasant Plains School District is seeking applicants for school bus drivers. Applicants who have a CDL Class B, School Bus Driver Permit and Passenger Endorsement are a plus. If not we will train you, and help you obtain all endorsements.

Pleasant Plains School District is currently looking to employ school bus drivers.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work with amazing students, staff and families!  The starting salary is $22.32  per hour with summers off, no nights, weekends or holidays.  There is also the possibility of increasing income and being involved in school trip activities.  The district will provide  training and help new hires obtain a CDL-B drivers license.  Anyone interested may fill out an application online (Here) or in person (315 W. The PPCUSD8 School District is accepting applications to fill the Board of Education vacancy resulting from the expired term of Gregg Humphrey. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from May 2025 to April 2027. Applicants interested in the Board vacancy should email Luke Brooks at lbrooks@ppcusd8.org prior to May 14th. At a minimum, a candidate must meet the following qualifications: Be a United States citizen; Be at least 18 years of age; Be a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment; Be a registered voter; Not be a child sex offender; Not hold an incompatible public office; Not have a prohibited interest in any contract with the District; Not be a school trustee; Not hold certain types of prohibited State or federal employment; and must meet all qualifications based upon the distribution of population among congressional townships in the district.

Due to inclement weather days, the last day of student attendance is now May 29, 2025.
