MR. SKINNER'S HEALTH TIP OF THE WEEK:

From the Desk of Principal Marsaglia Cell Phones/Camera Phones at School and On The Bus: Parents we need your help! The school district allows students to have cell phones at school, but only if they are using them in an appropriate manner. They MUST be powered off during the school day. Last week we had an accidental 911 phone call because a cell phone that was on was bumped and it dialed 911. We can't have this happening for the obvious reasons. Apparently we are also having a problem with cell phone cameras on the school bus. Students are not allowed to take pictures of students. This is also a distraction since students are up and moving around the bus when they should be seated. This is a major concern for safety of all people on the bus. Please talk with your child about the proper use of cell phones and use of texting messages and/or taking and sending pictures. We don't want to have to
confiscate phones from your children. |
