Pleasant Plains
High School is home to the PPHS DRAMA CLUB and International Thespian Troupe #3186 sponsored by Mrs. Jane
Brownback. Members help to produce two shows a year -- " The Musical" and "The
Play"-- and participate in the Illinois High School Theatre Festival each
January. With over 50 members, The Drama Club's mission is to
promote and support the theatrical arts. Students who earn Thespian points by
acting, serving on a crew, or doing other stage work, are awarded
membership in the International Thespian Society. A Senior Drama Award is presented
at Honors Night to the outstanding graduate with the most Thespian points.
