Attention Mrs. Blemler’s B2 English 232 class:  Do not go to South Campus.  You will meet at Main Campus in the library today.

POE will be at south campus today.

Attention Students:  Please check the lost and found for any items you have lost.  All items left in the lost and found after next Wednesday will be donated. 

Student Council Members:  There will be a student council meeting Monday at 11:20 in Mrs. Lee’s lab.  Please be prompt.

If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading, there will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, March 24 during first homeroom in Miss Radliff’s room.

SIU – Edwardsville is hosting a high school summer outreach for students interested in Engineering.  This is an on-campus residential program.  Two different weeks are available.  Applications are available on line at www.siue.edu/engineering/hs.shtml.   See Mrs. Brandon for a brochure.

The Student Council will be hosting the spring dance – Rave 4 – March 20^th from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.  The cost is $4 with $1 going to the Senior Transitions Class for the Zambia school.  If you are bringing a guest from another school you must sign them up in the office by noon on Friday, March 19^th. 

Attention Sophomores:  This is a reminder that all fundraising are due to Mr. Scropos by Monday, March 15^th.  You may turn them in early.  So, get out there and sell!

Try-outs for the 2010-2011 cheerleading squad will be held at the high school in the small gym Monday, March 29 thru Wednesday, March 31 from 3:30-5.

The fourth and last ACT Prep class will be held this Saturday in Mrs. Durbin’s room.  She will be covering the reading section of the ACT and also discussing test taking strategies.  Class will begin at 9 a.m.

Get your peace t-shirt and support the senior transitions classes efforts to raise money for Perry Stamp’s Zambia mission! $10. Sign up at lunch!

There will be a volleyball meeting on Tuesday, March 16 at 11:15 in the Choir Room. 

Attention volleyball players who are helping with Junior Redbird volleyball:  we begin next Tuesday after school at Farmingdale.  If you have questions, see Mrs. Williams

Attention Students:  If you have signed up for AP U S History next school year, you will have a meeting today during 2^nd homeroom in Mr. Scropos’ Room.

Come to the Spring Fling tonight at the high school from 7:00 until 10:00 pm. 

Saturday Open Gym will be at the high school from 8:00 – 9:30 am. 

Congratulations to Logan Harris on advancing to the Final Four tonight at the State Basketball Tournament in Peoria.  Logan will slam dunk tonight between 7:30 and 8:00 before the game.  Congratulations and Good Luck.

Dustin Myers did not make it out of the preliminary rounds at the 3 point shootout yesterday at the State Basketball Tournament, but congratulations to him on getting there.

The All-Star boys basketball game will be held this year at the Jacksonville Bowl on Friday, March 26 at 6:30.  Logan Harris is representing Pleasant Plains High School.  If you are interested in attending the All-Star game, you can purchase advance tickets for $4.00 in the Athletic Office or pay $5.00 at the door the night of the event.  Tickets will be on sale until Wed., March 24.
