LanguageGuide.org offers free sound integrated resources for learning languages. These resources are developed collaboratively with the help of volunteers. The site provides lots of vocabulary, pictures, and pronunciation information.
The Max Kade Institute (MKI) at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison is part of the College of Letters and Science.
The purpose of the institute is to provide scholarly research and
outreach-- which includes bringing a better understanding of issues of
German-American immigration, history, culture, and language to a
general public as well as to students.
The Goethe
Institute promotes the German language and culture in other
countries.
This site
is a great resource for language, grammar, and culture, though it is
not considered a scholarly source.
