Madrigals Madrigal Dinner Reservation Form Amid roving minstrels and the cries “Wassail, Wassail” the public is invited to being the Christmas Season by attending the Thirty-Ninth Annual Pleasant Plains Madrigal Dinner. With the sound of each fanfare, you will discover Christmas as celebrated in the ancient traditions of Merrie Olde England. You will be surrounded in the Old English tradition with an atmosphere of candelabras, banners, Wassail Bowl, Boar’s Head, Flaming Pudding, 16th century clothing, court jesters, trumpet fanfares, strolling minstrels, the court magician, a Royal festive dinner… and much, much more. It will be a festive evening of food and music featuring the Plains Madrigal Singers. They will provide traditional madrigal music as well as Christmas Carols from throughout the world. There are several new additions planned for this year, including a Brass quartet, audience carols, and a menu choice of Chicken on Saturday or Pork on Sunday. |
