Math--We will continue learning about points, line segments, lines, and rays. We will also discuss right, acute, and obtuse angles.
Reading--We will read the first story in our reading book, a chapter from the novel, Because of Winn-Dixie. On Monday, we will discuss the reading skill of the week, sequence, and vocabulary words. We will read and discuss the story together on Wednesday. We will reread the story on Thursday. On Friday, the students will take a selection test on the story checking their comprehension and knowledge of the vocabulary words.
Spelling--There is a test on Friday. Please check the spelling link for a list of words.
Science--We will be discussing the different classifications of vertebrates.
Social Studies--Illinois history will be studied.
English--The students will learn about the different types of sentences.
