Spelling:  sounds of /j/, /k/, and /s/

Reading:  Students are reading Night Letters.  It is a realistic fiction story about a girl who listens to the sounds of animals at night.  They will be working on drawing conclusions and asking questions as they read.

Math:  Students are taking their Unit 3 test on Wednesday.
Unit 4:  Multiplication and Division.  The main area of focus is to model and solve multiplication and division number stories and practice multiplication facts.  They will also explore the relationship between multiplication and division.

Science:  Students will take their Chapter 2 test on Friday.

English:  Students are working on improving sentences that they write.  They will be focusing on making word changes to make their sentences more exciting.

Writing:  Journal writing.
