	Welcome parents and students to the music web site for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade music. I am so happy to be here at Farmingdale with you! This is my 8th year teaching vocal and general music, and this is my first web site - I'm very excited about it! I will be using this site mainly to post information about what is going on in each grade level, as well as to post photos of your students giving their best in music.


	WORLD MUSIC Music of the world is something that is very special to me. I feel that it is very important for your student to be exposed to world music early and often. This year, your student may come home singing in a foreign language, something that we will do often here in class. Please support them in their new journey as they discover the influence world music has had on their own favorite styles.
